Tracback not working, a little test/help please

If I understand everything well, then I only have to do the following:

- create a new blog entry in my serendipity installation
- put a link that points an another blog entry somewhere
- if the linked page contains the correct RDF line then my blog notifies the linked site
- the linked site can decide to display or drop my notify

Could anyone check please if the blog.hu sites are containing the correct RDF line? Here is an example:

I linked this very entry in my blog but got "No trackback entry" after saving my blog.

The trackback is not displayed on your page, but on http://granturizmo.blog.hu

I understand where the trackback entry should be displayed. The serendipity found no trackback entry on any foreign blog page I have linked and I have no idea why and where to start look for a solution/debug.

Hi!

What's your blog URL where you linked to this entry? The RDF seems okay to me. When you save a new entry, s9y should tell you "Trying to send a trackback to ..." and give you a report if it found a trackback url or not...

Hi!

Ah, now I see. In both URLs this:

trackback:ping=""

is an empty string, but there s9y would require the URL of where to send the trackback to.

I see, thank you for your help. I suspect the blog.hu has a special field which is empty by default and the user must filll the correct value(s) by hand.
It is maybe due the tackback spam or intentional incompatibility to cramp other blogs to obtain attention.
