Re-send Trackback - how?

Hi!

Trackbacking works quite fine, and it is a great thing!

Now one of my Trackbacks failed and when I contacted the webmasters
I learned that our blog was mistakenly black listet. They corrected it and I am
asked to resend the trackback.

How can I?

as a quick fix I'd suggest to edit the posting two times,
first remove the link, click on save and re-enter the link, save again

then it should ping again, or at least show no message, so someone other can help you

Another easier way would be to save the post in "draft" again, and then set it to "publish" once again. This should also perform the trackbacks again, I think.

Nope, that didn't work. Saving w/o and again with the link worked - but to no avail:
"Trackback failed: Trackback Ping could not be processed successfully."

Strange, because the page looks sane to me:

Nicola, what is the effective error message you get? The string you send me is not contained in the english language file from Serendipity.

Post the exact link (or show me your posting) you used when trying to tracbkakc to Golem. It should work properly...

Very strange - so the system made this message up? I knew s9y is an intelligent
system - I wasn't prepared to see it creating it's own conversation phrases though
*big grin*

Well, don't bother, Golem mailed me that it again was a problem on _their_ side of
the software communication and that they have fixed it now. Anyway they in-
serted the trackbackmessage manually now.

We will see, if it will work the next time. Golem didn't tell me of the nature of
the prob they had but promised next time my trackback will work...
