imagemagick not on server

My hosting company doesn't have imagemagick on it, Is tehre a way i can upload the binaries seperately and change some conf files inside serendipity so it can look into that particular directory

If your provider has GDLib compiled into PHP, that doesn't matter.

And no, you cannot upload imagemagick binaries; they need several lib files and stuff that cannot be stored on the server without compiling it there.

yeah they have gd
so my media browser will work fine. with thumbnails and all.

The only thing that will not work is PDF thumbnail generation.
