Archive Links Do Not Work Correctly

Post by ThaFleastyler »

Hi there,

Please forgive me if this is mentioned somewhere already - I tried using the search, but did not get any results that would help.

I am having an issue where when I click on Archive links, they just redirect me back to the main homepage - for example, in the ARCHIVES box on the right hand side, I click "Older" and then click "View Full" or "View Topics" next to one of the months listed, but it just shows me the newest posts (even though the address at the top of the page, in the address bar, is correct).

Furthermore, whatever part of the archives I click, it always just shows me the very latest posts made - I have the Calendar activated, and scrolling through the months always just shows the latest month, and the latest posts, even though the address changes in the address bar).

The version of Serendipity is 1.1.2, hosted at http://www.fleastyle.co.nz/ (check it out, so you can see what I mean). I should also mention that the posts themselves are fine - if you click on the post names in the RECENT ENTRIES box on the right, they show just fine; likewise, Categories are working fine also.

Any help would be fantastic.

Kind Regards

Chris

Hi!

Sadly your s9y is pretty ancient, so it could be a bug that has been long ago fixed. Can you upgrade to a recent version?

Thanks for your help Garvin,

I upgraded to 1.5.1 beta, but this did not fix the issue - what I did find was that in Configuration > Paths > Relative Path, there was a full stop ("."); I removed this and replaced it with a backslash ("/") and now everything is working fine :)

Thanks again for your help - have a great Christmas/New Years!
