'New Entry' changed on me.

Post by liquidjas »

The look of 'New Entry' changed on me. Orignally, I could change the font size, font color, etc, by just clicking on New Entry. However now when I click on New Entry the layout looks a little different and I can no longer click on font size, font color, and some other things that were there. Is there a configuration change that I may have done but didn't realize?

I also noticed that the 'posted by' name changed as well. Originally the info was being posted as RV Team because I left it at it's default. Now if I try to post to the blog my login name shows as the 'posted by' login name even though I never actually changed it. I'm just not sure if I accidentally changed some settings, or if this has something to do with Serendipity, RV SiteBuilder or my Host..

Thanks,
Jason

Since I posted this I no longer see the issue where the 'posted by' name has changed. Now it's back to the default.

RV Site Builder strikes again!!!!

Sounds like the original admin user had personal setting enabling the wysiwyg editor and your "login name" user does not. Login, then choose "Personal Settings" and enable "Use WYSIWYG editor".

WYSIWIG Editor is set to 'yes'. However I tried to set to 'No' and save, and it stayed at 'yes', so there must be something going on there.

can you post a photo of the entry editor page? Also, it sounds as if they have not given you sufficient permissions to change your personal settings.
