Two Questions on formatting

Firstly, when I go into edit text, I used to have a tool bar with tools for changing colour, font, inserting pictures and so on. I don't know what I have done but now the text not only looks strange but there is not a proper toolbar. I basically have a very simple toolbar with I U B quote img media url. This does not allow me to write and edit how I was before. What have I done! I admit I have played around with configuration plug ins and configurations.

Secondly, when I log on to my website, a little box in the topleft hand corner comes up asking me to log in. A few people have said that they are being asked to log in to access my website. Do they see this box too? I thought it was only me as the administrator.

Hi!

When you login, check the "Personal preferences" screen and make sure that you have enabled the "WYSIWYG" option.

This sounds odd, it could maybe even mean your website is hacked. What's your URL so I could try to see that?

It be great to get you too look it at and say what you see as I am getting conflicting views from people. What you should see is my profile to the left, then 4 different blog posts. I also want people to be able to post comments without logging in.

I will check the other advice you gave i.e enabling WYSIWYG but I am sure I have already done that

You seem to be using Serendipity from a hosted environment. This codes comes from a foreign integration of Serendipity. This is something that we have no knowledge off, so you will need to contact your provider of your backend on what might be happening.

We can only give support for unmodified versions of Serendipity here, because we cannot know any modifications that other people might have made to run them for their clients.
