Photos in Discussion Forum Posts?

Hi - I finally have my discussion forum up and running, however, I am trying to upload photos into some of the posts, but nothing other than the code actually shows up. I have tried to change the Absolute server path to upload directory to a new file strictly for these uploads, uploaded the photo to it......then when I try to add the img, type in that particular path/url. Nothing shows up other than the path itself, inside of . What do I need to do to have the actual photo show up here?

When I do the same thing in the post I am writing right now, the photo shows up with no problem:



What am I missing in my forum that is keeping it from showing up?

Hi!

Do you have the BBCode event plugin installed? Do you have configured the forum plugin to "Apply markup transformations"?

Hi Garvin - yes on both counts.......I also installed the Gallery Plugin {though it's possible that I don't have the correct URL in place for that}. Also, when I try to upload the file directly from my computer into the post, nothing happens.

Can you show a URL where the image does not show up in your forum?

Also, what do you mean with "upload the file directly from my computer intpo the post"?

When making a new post, there is a place to upload files into the post, where you choose file from your computer to upload, etc.....

Wait a minute.......for some reason this is now showing up.......I did nothing any different than I did before, but now I can see the photo......weird.

The 'File upload' feature still doesn't seem to do anything, though
