WordPress contra Serendipity

I´m new to Serendipity. I have a WordPress site which is focused on buy water cleaners.
Is there anyone who has used WP and then Serendipidy and who can tell me what the relative merits of Serendipity compared to WP are? What wolud the mejor advantages of using Serendipity be?

What wolud the mejor advantages of using Serendipity be?

I can't say that I have really used WP, but I have certainly taken a look at it. In fact, I used to run a WP blog ages ago, so my experience in using it is very, very outdated.

Advantages of Serendipity (very subjective point of view):

1. It has experienced much less security issues than WP over the past couple of years.

2. The user and developer community is still very small which makes it easier to get support (in this forum) or get feature requests to the people responsible for implementing them. (Or not, but they'll still give you good reasons in that case.)

3. Because of the "centralized" plugin development, there is one plugin for each job, period. No need to decide between a dozen comment form plugins. There is only one, and it works.

I'm sure other contributors to this discussion will add different reasons, but the bottom line is: Serendipity is simply more reliable and way cooler. Of course, I'm biased.
