I'm building a replacement for my site (afternoonstudios.com) on lucassian.com (which I will move over there once I'm done.)
I've done a lot with the gallery page, integrating lightbox and modifiying the style sheet for both the page and lightbox.
If you're at work. wait till you get you get home as I have some bikini photos up in the sample gallery and main page!
I'm looking for any constructive feedback I can get right now, so please give me some comments here.
Thanks,
~John

Re: Looking for feedback
Hi!
I'm a part-time photographer as well, so I enjoyed your pictures - they are well made, and at the center of your page convey a professional look.
The plainness of the site puts a focus on these pictures, even though I'm personally not that big a fan of black homepages.
Anyhow, the only think that looks a bit "off" to me is the mixture of a red "Afternoon Studios" header, and the "Lucassian" in Blue on the right. I think those two struggle for attention, and do not mix well in their colors. I'd pick one of the two colors (red, if you ask me).
What I personally enjoy on pages like these would be a page where you present yourself (with a picture) and what kind of equipment/studio you use. And a section for testimonials of your clients always get yourself a bit more in touch with potential new clients.
Best regards,
Garvin

Re: Looking for feedback
Hi Garvin,
Thanks for taking a look!
I chose black so that there's no optical interference with viewing the photos. I could go with a shade of gray instead of black I suppose...
I have been struggling with the color scheme. I like my logo and have it in two version - both have red hair, but the black and white are reversed in them. (I could change it to a gif with a transparency too.)
I'll consider the testimonial page idea - but then I'll need to start collecting testimonials too! I did publish a book on modeling that I should probably put a link up for too.
Thanks again,
~John
