It seems Google has a new kind of sitemap called NEWS SITEMAP.
It needs to include dates of each article to not include any article more than 3 days past.
Do we have a generator for that? Or is their 3rd party generator? Or what?

I didn't realize they had a format just for news.... I found more info on it here.
Perhaps the existing sitemap plugin could be modified to include an option for also generating the news format sitemap.
My initial concern is this quote from the google site referenced above:
Your News sitemap should only contain URLs for all your articles published in the last three days.
That would seem to imply that the sitemap needs to be updated daily so only the most recent 3 days entries appear. This would also imply the sitemap contains NO entries if nothing has been published in the 3 most recent days.
Note the word "SHOULD" in the google wording. It means, you can already use your default sitemap file as a news sitemap. It will contain more news, but google parses the older ones out by themselve.
