hmmm .. you are using the variable "Überschrift" and not "Seitentitel".

Was this on purpose?

Überschrift is exactly the field that I need empty.

Alternatively I'd need to find out how to stop the "Überschrift" appearing in the page content. Which wouldn't be too bad because in the field "Überschrift" Umlaute are allowed (I wouldn't want Gaestebuch in my Page title
But I don't see it in the plugin_guestbook_form.tpl

Hi!

Yes, the pagetitle is meant to be used for URLs only, not to contain headlines. The headline content is meant to hold the headline.

Isn't the guestbook templatable? Then you could edit the .tpl file to remove the headline. Not the _form one, but the other one.

I would never have expected to find a variable for a headline that is above a form in a file that handles entries below a form. My personal limitation .. sorry.

And BTW .. I just made an entry while being logged in to the admin - so I see edit buttons etc. I don't see my mail address though .. ist still see nospam@example.com.
Did I misunderstand your fix? Do need to be logged in as editor (I didn't install the login plugin) to see mailadresses?

Another one: After your fix .. if I receive the mail about a new entry it reads

"test" has just written the following

The From-header is "Daniel Lowicki <daniel_at_lowicki_dot_de> (there are @s and dots of course)
The To-header is "Daniel Lowicki <daniel_at_lowicki_dot_de>

And if I press reply I send to:
Daniel Lowicki <test@blatera.de>

Something is mixed up here.

Sorry, I can't personally help with CSS problems on customized pages...it surely is a IE-Bug or CSS-Problem.

Can you have a look with a tool like phpmyadmin into the guestbook table, and see if the real mail adress is stored there?

Being logged in as anyone would be alright. So when you see edit/delete buttons, you are definitely recognized as logged in.

s9y sets a reply-to header to the mail address that was used from the guestbooker. It is not the same like From, that's by intention.

Strange but true .. the mailaddress in the guestbook entry has changed now .. don't know why it had showed nospam entry this morning. But it's still a mystery. It reads: "test2 at mail dot de" And this is an exact quote.
And BTW .. I just explicitly logged out and I still see: "test2 at mail dot de"

Yes .. but it shouldn't read "Blogname <test2@mail.de>" but rather "test2@mail <test2@mail.de>"

I'd even think the from header should already read "test2@mail <test2@mail.de>" instead of my own (admin) mail address. After all the subject line is clear about the mail's content: "[Blogname] Neuer Gästebuch Eintrag".
