I am new to the Serendipity/blogging world and I have a couple of issues which I am sure could be cured by other forum posters. However, I've tried to search the forum every which way, and I can't get it to work. I've used advanced search options, etc. etc., nothing.
Help? Thanks!
Forum Search not working?

I have put a phrase such as "html nugget" into the search engine, both as single words, and a phrase, not using the advanced search, choosing a category, not choosing a category, using quotes, not using quotes, etc. etc. Nothing ever comes out of it. Never had it happen on any other forum, ever.

Re: Forum Search not working?
hmmm... response I received was that those words are too common, which surprises me. I also searched for the word "fixed" and phpBB responded with the same message - too common. I tried "flagpole", which was not found.
I tried "fluid", which produced around 2 dozen hits.
Not sure.... I know mySQL does require a degree of uniqueness, but I cannot imagine that html and/or nugget are so commonly used in all the forums here that it would be TOO common.
Garvin? Clues?

By the way, I'm having decent luck searching through Google, but NO luck searching through the s9y.ord web site.

Hi!
I have tried to adjust the settings of the board search by disabling common words. Let's see if it works, once the index is recreated.
Regards,
Garvin
