Large spaces when using paypal on static

Post by jcaine7 »

I recently added a Paypal button to one of my static pages:

For some reason, I cannot seem to get rid of the large white space between my text and my button. The button seems to always want to appear way below it. The solution is probably right in front of my eyes - Any suggestions?!

Try this for starters: open the static page, and select "no" for Perform Markup Transformations.

Also, go to "manage styles" in the serendipity backend and check your URL links for "wear a wristband" and "how can I help"... the default # sign is still in there... those links should end in either html, not htm#. I edited your post above so the link in your post is correct.

I am one of the authors of the template you are using and sincerely appreciate the purpose of your blog. On behalf of the bulletproof development team, just let us know what you need to accomplish with that site and we will do anything we can to assist.

I have a somewhat related question. I recently upgraded to 1.4.1. I just edited an entry and now I have large areas of white space between graphics and text and between tables. Could any of the markup plugins be causing this? Thanks very much.

Disable the nl2br plugin, either sitewide (if using the wysiwyg editor) or just for the affected entries.
