Hi Garvin, I copied your code and created the "test.php" file with the exact contents and you had there and put it at the root of the s9y got installed (websmartdeals) and a copy of the same file right at the root of my domain and still the same error message, any other ideas? I'll appreciate your help on this matter.

Related to the quirky way the blog shows using mozilla, I do understand and yes you might be right about the banners so I'll work that out later on after I iron down all the other details, thanks.

I would really like the admin permission email to work thou....

Hi!

You'll need to contact your SMTP (Mailserver) technical admin. There seem to be restrictions on your mailserver that you need to get to know.

Hi Garvin, there are no restrictions whatsoever, I also happen to have "zencart" installed on another domain and the emails are being sent normally, by the way if you study my problem and look at my question further it says "emailing is possible from s9y" BUT checking the -require admin permission- option is when does not work, I tried it without and no admin required the emails go through, I can send and receive.
Please, any ideas????

Hi!

Yeah, but maybe zencart uses different mailheaders or the use a differing From/To-Address. There must be a configuration issue with the SMTP server that disallows the mail that is getting sent by s9y. Without a technical contact telling us the exact mailer-error statement, we can't really put a finger on anything.

In case of the admin-mail, the difference is that "To" and "From" are identical. Maybe your SMTP is blocking such mails.

well, I thought since you are the master developer you might have a good workaround to this problem, I guess I will have to live without the admin requirement and have people create their own usernames and I can always screen/approve/delete them by hand as they come.
One more question, can s9y be installed more than once in the same domain? create a subdomain maybe?

s9y can be installed on subdomains, or also on one domain in different subdirectories (like /blog, /blog2, /blog3 etc.). You only need to make sure that you never stack one installation into the directory of another (/blog/blog2 won't properly work).
