Re: How can I add video to my blog?
Dave - welcome to Serendipity! Can you be a bit more specific about what you wish to accomplish regarding video? Your own flash file? Embedded content from something like YouTube? An AVI file?
It is also a great idea to provide a URL to your site if possible.

Hi Don, Thanks for your reply. The video I would like to add to my blog will be video files I have on my computer. Video's that I download from my camera. Not sure what kind of file it is. May be AVI or JPEG. and also video from places like youtube. Any help would be greatly appreciated. my website is www.7thpower.biz/blog
Thanks

Re: How can I add video to my blog?
Videos hosted elsewhere, such as youtube, vimeo, etc, can simply be embedded links.... those sites usually provide the embed code which you can paste directly into your entries.
Videos YOU host are a different story - I think AVI is out of the question due to their typical large file size. You might try converting any of your files to flash (swf), where most browsers will be able to play the file with a simple link. Otherwise, you may need your own video player. You could investigate the easy podcasting plugin which takes a bit of time to get properly configured as the plugin requires downloading and installing a few other files not distributed with the plugin due to licensing issues.
