Using the "*" in my Serendipity installation I get following text converted into bold letters.
That's fine, but I need the "*" pretty often and don't want my text being formatted.
So where can I change this into another character like "#" for example ?
I already checked out "mypath/serendipity/plugins/serendipity_event_bbcode/serendipty_event_bbcode.php" but couldn't find the corresponding entry.
Either I overlooked it or it is located in a different file.
Can somebody tell me where I can find the "*" so I can change it ?
Thanks in advance and regards,
Niclas

Re: Another BBCode for bold text ?!
Hi!
The easiest way would be to disable the event plugin "Serendipity markup". This is the one that's responsible for changing * text. BBCode uses marking like.

Garvin
