Hi,
I've upgraded my girldfriends blog from 1.3 to 1.4 and was surprised about the new menu.
My blog (vom 1.4 beta to 1.4) shows still the "old" menu style.
Any idea why I'm still with the "old" menu?
Thanks
Jan
Serendipity 1.4 with "old" menu

Maybe your blog is using a template which comes with it's own admin backend. Which template are you using in your blog?jaal wrote:I've upgraded my girldfriends blog from 1.3 to 1.4 and was surprised about the new menu. My blog (vom 1.4 beta to 1.4) shows still the "old" menu style.

Well, does /templates/$YOURTEMPLATE/ have an admin/ subdirectory?jaal wrote:I've modified one and renamed it.
If it has, you should get the new admin look by just deleting /templates/$YOURTEMPLATE/admin/ (plus maybe a reload in your browser). If it doesn't, I'm outjaal wrote:Is there any way to check what has to be changed?

If it is the blog in your signature, yes - the template has its own admin stylesheet (at minimum): templates/salid/admin/style.css.
That admin stylesheet might offer something unique, or it could have simply been a one time copy of /templates/default/admin/style.css.
You could rename the folder to templates/salid/adminbackup/, then reload the admin page, which should then load the new 1.4 admin stylesheet from bulletproof.
