Rss // admin area // uploaded themes

Post by ameo »

is it possible to place an rss from other sites on the sidebar? to always display their content on that rss widget? [Done that]

about http://blog.s9y.org/archives/202-Serend ... eased.html

i've noticed while uploading some themes in the new folders like carl-contest and competition.. but when i went to the styles management i wasn't able to find it!

also, i think that blog entry mentioned that the admin interface has some new look? is that right!

Hi!

carl-contest is called "Serendipity 3.0" and competition is called "Blue Streak". The real name of a template is defined inside the info.txt file of each template.

The installation integrity link only checks files that are bad, right.

And the admin interface has the new look due to the bulletproof template being the default now.

Regards,
Garvin

After the integrity check, this is what you should get if you have no problems:
Verify Installation Integrity
All required files verified
.

i'm getting paranoid here.. is it possible to make s9y skip certain files?

If in doubt, FTP the files again. It cannot hurt anything.

You can skip files, but it requires FTP access.

Download your /checksums.inc.php. Find the files that are causing you problems. If you are absolutely certain that the files are not corrupted (like you modified them yourself or something), remove the lines referring to those files from checksums.inc.php. Now upload /checksums.inc.php again.

Your integrity check should no longer trouble you!
