new template problem with images not contained within entry

Post by sonichouse »

I am trying to write a new template, and have noticed that images within the post are straying outside of the entry div.

Strangely this works with IE6/7,FF2 and Chrome, but fails with FF3.

I have tried various things, but I have run out of ideas.

The problem site is here

Thanks in advance, Steve.

Looking good. I really don't see any images straying outside of the entry div in FF 3.0.5, though. Can you specify an entry/image where this happens?

Hi YL,
I am using Flock which claims to use FF 3.0.4, and this happens for the "Mark Thomas" post and especially the "Metallica" entry.

Both look perfectly fine in FF 3.0.5 on Linux w/ 1024x768px.

You have just got to love cross browser compatability issues.

Just installed FF 3.0.5 in Vista, and the "Mark Thomas" entry is now fine, but the "Metallica" entry still exhibits the problem.

Looks like a clearance issue to me. However, I can't say much because, erm, no Vista :-)
