Yes. See http://www.s9y.org/, in the upper right corner there's a link Plugins / Templates. That leads you to Spartacus, our repository for extra Plugins and Templates, which you can also address directly from your blog's admin panel using the Spartacus event plugin (which you will have to install first, of course).

Some template designers also host additional templates on their websites. Try googleing "s9y templates" or "Serendipity templates".

Usually yes, but you should always check for seperate instructions on that matter individually. However, I can't remember any s9y template which doesn't grant you the right to modify it.

Hi!
is there a database for serendepity-styles/templates?
You can find templates on spartacus.s9y.org, yes!
Am I allowed to modify templates?
That depends on the template's license. most require you to keep the copyright notes intact, but then you can modify them as you like.

Stupid question: How can I install SPARTACUS? Is there a button in the admin-panel I didn't found?

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask!!

Spartacus is a plugin that is bundled with the s9y core, but is not installed by default. It is an event plugin.

To install an event plugin, see this post: http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?p=79580#79580

It covers a different event plugin, but the concept is the same.
