top referrers

I'm curious how the Top Referrers plugin is supposed to work. Is it the top referrers in x amount of days? I find that occasionally I'll have 5 or 6 different referrers with a few hits each, but then theres times where only one is listed. Are they 'expiring' or something?

I've been playing with it a little bit, by linking from different places and it doesnt seem to be adding entries to the database every time.

If you could search the forums, there are some larger threads about referrers.

The short answer is: Referrer stats are aggregated by the input of the last 7 days, thus they will be different each day and only count values from those past 7 days. And referrers only get tracked if you get at least 2 hits from a referrer page, to prevent easy referrer spam.
