HTML Meta-Tags: default page title to the blog post title?

Post by Mekk »

For some reason, HTML META-Tags defaults the page title to my (editing) user name.

Is it possible to make it default to the blog entry title?

Hi!

Could it be your browser auto-filling in that input field? Check the HTML sourcecode if really your user name is in there. If you use Firefox3: They have a nasty new auto-fillin method that fills in usernames/password at places where they do not belong.

Yes, this is the same problem as http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?t=13451

When both meta-tags and extended properties plugins are simutaneously enabled, Firefox3 password filling routine decides that there is a login/password pair to be filled on the page. And it fills it.

Bueeee

(the other side of this is that indeed I get the pre-filled username/password on many sites on which FF2 failed to hint them)

PS I am considering poor-man workaround: save some other fake username+password for the same site, then FF3 should wait until I pick one of them instead of auto-filling.
