Hi all,
I have configured the add-user plugin so that it creates users with userlevel=X and group_membership=(X). However only the userlevel is actually applied on users creation, the new user is still not 'member' of the requested group.
IMO a (quite serious) bug.
Best regards,
Marcus
plugin-adduser does not apply group membership

Hi!
Hm, I see the trouble. The usergroups were not initialized at the proper place inside the plugin.
I just committed an updated version 2.26 of the plugin. To fix the bug, you need this new file:
http://php-blog.cvs.sourceforge.net/*ch ... ision=1.21
You can save this as serendipity_plugin_adduser.php. Of course, you can also download the updated plugin via spartacus in the next 24-48 hours.
Thanks for reporting this!
Best regards,
Garvin
