Hi,
I've just downloaded the PopFetcher plugin from the web site, unzipped it and FTP'd it to my blog and popped it in the plugins directory.
However when I go into the admin section & "Configure Plugins" I can see no reference to PopFetcher. I've logged out and in but no joy.
I've read about Spartacus and assume that I should be able to download plug ins directly from the Admin, however I can't see how to do it. There is a link to the page explaining Spartacus from the front page but that seems to be it.
How do I implement Spartacus in my install ?
Many thanks
David

Hi!
Uploading the files is just one step. To ENABLE them, you have to click the link "Click here to install event plugins" in your plugin configuration screen.

Garvin

I suspected as much, but the new plug in does not appear in the list.
Not sure if its relevant but I counted 31 plugin's in the web folder ( /blog/plugins ), yet on 21 of them list in the manage plugins menu.
I've checked that the permissions on the new folder are the same as the others.
I've just found the doc.txt file for the plug in and it says:
"DESCRIPTION
This plugin adds the menu selection "POPFetcher" to your admin menu. Clicking on it will retrieve all attachments (and corresponding email msgs) from your mailbox using POP3 protocol. Alternatively, this plugin can also be run externally, typically from crontab."
Unfortunately no sign of POPfetcher in the main admin menu (left column) or any of the other menus ?

Hi!
Plugins are sorted into EVENT and SIDEBAR plugins, yet they are both in the same list. Popfetcher is an EVENT plugin, so you must click on the link "Click here to install an EVENT plugin".
Best regards,
Garvin
