version 8 - Calendar not working now

I upgraded to version 8 not more than an hour ago. The upgrade went by the book and I was relieved to see my blog up and running after a couple minutes.

BUT now the calendar function doesnt function properly. By default, it displays correctly, and the proper dates are linked (that have entries), but any click on the calendar results in an empty page "no entries to print" screen with the title "Entries from 1999".

This occurs when I click on ANY date in the calendar or try to change months. For example, clicking on "April" takes me to the URL "?/archives/2005/04.html" yet the page returns the same empty page.

I tried removing the calendar plug in and then adding it again but it still doesnt work.

By the way, this happens with any skin I choose.

Please check your configuration paths.

Check that serendipityHTTPPath and baseURL are both set to a proper directory.

I bet that your serendipityHTTPPath is set to "" instead of "/"...?

thanks, that did it.

I also had to go back and fix the htaccess file to my liking, but those are the only issues I have run into so far.
