HI-
I recently had some failrly serious issues with my server and had to resore MYSQL table attached to serendipity. Now that this issue is fixed, I need to reenter the new password and username as well as database name into serendipity. Here's the error message-

Can anybody point me in a direction ?

Hi!
You need to edit the file "serendipity_config_local.inc.php" inside your serendipity directory. If you cannot write to that file, check the "fixperm.php" script that's mentioned in the s9y.org FAQ.
