XML-RPC Shell Client

Before I rewrite an older Pythoncode ( I think this will take some time with my KongFu

)I would like to ask if somebody have got a client to post directly from shell ( bash, tcsh, ksh and so on) via XML-RPC to s9y?
Nice feature would be the support for draft-postings ( possibility is in the serendipity_xmlrpc.inc.php for blogger/metaWeblog).

I don't have such a script, but...

We've got a "POPFetcher" plugin that allows you to post by email. And there are loads of command-line email clients.
