no archives directory

Hi,
In the installation setup I got the message

/www/htdocs/.../weblog// Nicht beschreibbar [!]
/www/htdocs/..../weblog//templates_c Beschreibbar
/www/htdocs/..../weblog//archives/

There is no archives directory in the download. Also, what means //?
Also There is no serendipity_config_local.inc.php file only a serendipity_config.inc.php file. Finally, no .htaccess file was created.

Hi!

The s9y tarball contains an 'archives' directory. Please create re-extract your archive and make sure you also extract empty directories.

The root directory needs to be writable for s9y.

"//" is the same like "//////////" or "/" - so do not get confused of it. /www/htdocs/.../weblog/ needs to have write permissions for PHP for installation.

The config_local will be created after installation. That's why write permissions are required. Same applies to .htaccess.
