Keep Entry on top???

Post by WATCHDOG »

Hi,

how can I keep an entry on top af all entries?

I want to have one common announcement that is always on top on the startpage - all other entries should be below that entry, how can this be done? I do not see this functionality in s9y.org.

THANKS!

sorry, but next question arises immediately:

how can I SORT the order, that multiple sticky postings are shown???

I want the first posting to be always on top of all entries and on top of all sticky postings, even if I add an sticky posting later on!

Thanks!

Hi!

Multiple sticky entries are sorted through their timestamp. Thus, change the posting time of those entries to sort them in your order. Then you will need to make future sticky postings always older than your most important sticky entry.

You could also modify the index.tpl to include that entry at the top of each page, or at the top of the front page by checking for {if $view == 'frontpage'}.
