Hello,
my search wasnt succesfull here.
My problem is, that my serendipity wont save the changes in the Spam Protector Plugin.
it saves the changes in 'General Settings' or 'Calender Plugin'.
If i change something in another Plugin and click 'save' I see the:
"Done: The new settings have been saved at 11:42:19"
but not in the Spam Protector, it wont print nothing, and the changes i made are on default.
I think i set the permissions of the directories correctly
Anything else seems to work correct, i am on a hoster called Funpic.
i want that any comment has to make this captcha, not after 7 days.
Greetings,
Chris

Re: Spam Protector wont save changes
Hi!
Which serendipity version do you use? When you click save you do not get any response like "have been saved?"
Please ask your provider if he runs suhosin or mod_security. Both can interfere with what the spamblock plugin tries to submit to the server. The spamblock plugin submits many HTTP FORM variables, and suhosin can apply a limit to those.
Also mod_security might block what is inside the larger input boxes where you can enter blacklist strings with regular expressions. mod_security might block your HTTP request if it sees those strings, even though you only submit them to tell s9y that those words are bad.
Best regards,
Garvin
