Serendipity 1.3 and PHP 4.3.10 + MySQL 3.23.56.

Installed Serendipity and at the end of the day when I went to 'Edit Entries' the message 'No entries to print' was displayed. I was able to display my entries by changing Filters -> Author from -- to my username. Unfortunately when I tried to edit a posting it contained nothing. Now all entries have disappeared completely. However I can see that the data is still there in the MySQL database.

I'm going to flatten the installation and start again because I have been changing a lot of configuration parameters so something I've done might have triggered it. However I'm concerned it might be a problem that happens again.

Hi!

You might want to serously consider upgrading your MySQL. It is full of security issues and the speed has MUCH improved since MySQL 4.1.
