Post are not being archived, HELP please.

Hello,

I have just installed serendipity and the installation said it was successfull.

I have made a test post and it is showing on the home page, but when clicked on it has not creating the actual post html page (in the archives folder). It has not also created the extended version of the post.

Can some one please advise or help me to fix this.

Hi!

No files are created, they are served dynamically from the Database.

You seem to have enabled s9y URL rewriting but your server does not seem to support it. Go to your s9y admin panel in the configuration section and change "URL Rewriting" to "None".

Then your links to the archive pages will work:
