Show Plugin on...

Post by eckes »

Some Plugins are article list/details specific. Some others allow to select if they should be shown on the index or detail page. However I think most others would benefit from a framework where i can configure on the sidebar list, if i want to see the plugin always or only in article details mode.

I have for example a box of recent comments, but I only want to see it on the start page.

Greetings
Bernd

Try the plugin serendipity_event_sidebarhider, which is listed in the event plugins as "Toggle Sidebar state (collapsed/uncollapsed)". In the event plugin configuration, select "no" for Toggle Sidebar state (collapsed/uncollapsed), since this is not the functionality you desire. Next, you will see a new sidebar item in the ADMIN backend of serendipity... in English, this is Manage Sidebar Visibility. You will then find lots of options for when/where to display each specific sidebar item.
