Hello,
This is my first post here as I've been using Serendipity for the best part of 2 years now and not had any problems...
But.
I should probably declare that my knowledge here is scant at best and downright blank at worst so forgive me if I sound naive or plain dumb.
We've moved our site to a new web host and have tried to migrate the best part of half a gig of data and are running into a whole host of sql and 'smarty' errors that are rendering the site as defunct. Without going into too much detail I was hoping there would be simple procedure we could follow for this.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Many thanks
Matt

Re: Data Migration to New Web Host
Hi!
Did you follow the FAQ as to how to move an installation?
The basic idea is that you need to edit the .sql dump files to replace the occurences of the old Path/URL with the new one. This will get rid of most Smarty errors you might face along the way.
Regards,
Garvin
