Hi,
I installed the Amazon Sidebar Plugin version 1.11 through Spartacus. I only see text as a link to the ASIN's. I confirmed that I have the correct ASIN's. I am only using two at the moment for testing.
If I am not logged into my Amazon account when I bring up an IE 6 browser window then I see the text links for the products displayed with some unnecessary text. If I happen to be logged into my account I see a whole paragraph of unnecessary text for each link.
Here is a copy of the link text for the book In The Gravest Extreme whose ASIN is 0936279001:
Online shopping from the earth's biggest selection of books, magazines, music, DVDs, videos, electronics, computers, software, apparel & accessories, shoes, jewelry, tools & hardware, housewares, furniture, sporting goods, beauty & personal care, broadband & dsl, gourmet food & just about anything else.
Those are the words I see as a link to the book on the sidebar plugin formatted as a link.
I'm not sure how it is supposed to work. Am I supposed to see a picture or a text link. Once again the ASIN's are correct. I have never seen a simple link of text or a picture.

Also, what does "How Many Articles To Display?" mean?

Hi!
I think that Amazon at some point changed their ASIN API. I hope that the original developer of that plugin might find this thread, since I myself don't use that plugin.
Apart frmo this forum here, s9y.org and the files in the plugin archive, there's no other plugin information place.
Regards,
Garvin

Hi!
Matthew Groeninger who created the amazonchooser plugin might have some ideas, would you like to contact him? Search for the username "groeninger" on the forum, he often reads his messages and I'm sure he can come back to us/you!
