Post by chiriqui »

What's the format for the Longitude and Latitude ?

8 degrees 49'04. 49 N
82 degrees 37'18.92 W

Or where can I find docs on Geomap?

thank you

Hi!

Check out google, Lat/Lon are formatted decimally like:

http://www.gorissen.info/Pierre/maps/go ... tionv3.php

51.220647, 6.767578 for Düsseldorf, Germany.

it doesn't work..

so far I'm batting 0 for 4 on plugins

I insert

8.811118 latitude
-82.617874 logitude

and the map displays Antartica????? instead of the Republic of Panama

what a joke

I used the site you gave to locate the coordinates.

Interestingly Google Earth lists the location differently then that site you pointed me to. I mean to say... that when I use the site you recommended to precisely where I want to point to it generates coordinates that differs from what Google Earth generates.. by quite a difference??

This is beside the point. Point is when I insert coordinates geomap points me to the south pole???

Hi!

Did you switch lat and lon? Enter -82.61,8.81 instead?

It wasn't the log and lat needing switching around.. it was the number of integers in the number apparently.

I was using coordinates with 8 digits your 3 digit number worked

thanks...

now onto trying to get the map to show up in the sunrise/sunset plugin

Am I missing something?.. are there docs with these plugins? I hate bothering you with issues that are simply the fact that I don't have a documentation to refer to.

Hi!

To which sunrise/sunset-plugin are you referring to? You can only combine those plugins, if they are meant to be combined. :)

It might've been some caching issue? The geotag plugin does cache your inputs for a few hours, I believe...
