is it possible to global disable trackbacks on articles (in / out)?

Incoming trackbacks can be disabled/rejected via the spamblock plugin.

Outgoing trackbacks can either be removed by setting $serendipity['noautodiscovery'] = true in your serendipity_config_local.inc.php file or serendipity_config.inc.php OR by installing the additional plugin 'serendipity_event_trackbacks' here: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/p ... trackback/
