Problem with database parameters

Post by 3th3rnet »

Hi,

How Can I change database parametrs on serendipity files? I don't have access to my old server and I can't remember name of database, username and password. What I would like to do is changing this parameters directly on the files and runing old blog on the new server. It is possible?

Hi!

You can change those settings inside the "serendipity_config_local.inc.php" file.

Hi!

The variables like $serendipity['dbName']indicate the name of your database!

You can modify that file with a usual Text-Editor.
