URL rewriting

Post by the j »

Hi,

I am currently running 0.8beta4, upgraded from 0.71. Both versions have worked fine for me, except that archives never work. My hosting doesn't allow me to edit httpd.conf; I've tried setting mod_rewriting, Apache Error documents and nothing works; I get 404 errors.

Currently I've got URL rewriting set to none; however this is giving erratic behaviour: individual posts will display but not archives.

I really don't know what's going on. The site is http://house-of-the-dragon.com .

It seems you did not set your serendipityHTTPPath to "/" but to "" instead. Can that be? Look up your serendipity Configuration.

Garvin
