Bulletproof: Hide mail adress in comments doesn't work?

How can I hide the mail adresses in comments?

In the spam plugin I set the option "E-Mail-Adressen bei Kommentatoren verstecken" (Hide E-Mail-Adresses at comments) to yes, but it's still shown as mail [at] domain.de

Only a logged-in administrator sees those email addresses.....
