Schedule Posting

I can't find this in the library of plugins. So, I'm wondering, is there a plugin where I can delay my post to be published?

For example, today I want to post 2 posts... but I know I won't be posting tomorrow as I'll be away from computer.

So, I want to post one today and set the 2nd post to post automatically at a set time tomorrow. Is that possible?

Edit: Oops... sorry, just found out it's already a built-in feature just by changing the time and date and publish it.

The last time I tried this (which I forgot when), it didn't work.

Although the post can be posted at a scheduled time. But in the Edit Entries page, there's still a clock icon saying that the entry is 'This entry is not yet published.' although it's already up. Hmm...

Edit: It's weird that I'm replying to my thread with answers. LOL! Ok, the icon disappeared when I checked 30 minutes later. And on why I still see the future entries on my blog even though I've set the option 'Show future entries' in Categories to No (just found out there's this option too). This is because I'm still logged in. Duh...

Well, I guess I learn something today. The feature has always been there yet I don't know about it. Better later than never.

The only reason why I still want to have that extension is this: If you save an article with a future date, all trackbaks are executed now and the search engine will be informed now already, too.

The bad thing with the trackbacks is: Some sites check, if the link that is setting the trackback is existing and having the URL. If this is produced by a "future" article, the other site can't see the article trying to trackback and will deny the trackback.

Is it possible to alter all trackbacks execution and the search engine informed after the post is posted at the future time?

No.. Thats exactly the functionality I would like to have.

But this is somewhat hard to implement. You need a cronjob or have to do this the first time a user is successfully reading the article. The first is not available on all servers, the second is very clumbsy..
