Question about user-self-registration plugin

Post by holysjit »

Ok, Thanks...

When you register you receive a email:

Code: Select all

An author account has just been created for NAME on the blog http://www.thejokers.nl/weblog/serendipity_admin.php. To activate this account, click here:

ACTIVATIONLINK HERE
I dont want to send the http://www.thejokers.nl/weblog/serendipity_admin.php link in a email, but you HAVE to. When I delete the %s in the langfile, the activationlink disappears. How can I send the activation email without the serendipity_admin.php link, and WITH the activationlink....?

(sry for crappy explainaition)

Hi!

Yes, this is not planned. You would need to edit the PHP file to not show the Admin-link. But the admin link is obvious to people nevertheless, so I don't really see why it should be hidden?
