Post by amarradi »

Hi
i use the plugin 'serendipity_event_google_sitemap'. There is an Field, where you can type a List of URL's vor pinging. The Standard is

Code: Select all

http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ping?sitemap=%s;
http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=%s
Is it all, where i can send Ping changes of the sidemap.xml?
Had everyone a List for me? Withe the correct parameter? I don't found anyone.

Bye!

Hi!

AFAIK there are no other ping services. Do you know of any?

It should also be possible to ping Yahoo and MSN, and both say they support the sitemap protocol, but the yahoo ping site is broken and has been for several months without being fixed, and MSN to my knowledge haven't published the URL of their ping notification service.

Stick with Google and Ask and using blog ping services like pingoat etc.
