Splitting Long Entries in Static Pages

Post by Ianardo »

Is there any way to use the 'Split long entries' plugin in Static Pages?

I think it would be incredibly useful as I've never really liked the 'Parent/Child' setup.

Hi!

The parent/child concept is perfectly fine for splitting pages, IMHO.

That's because you are a programmer.

The 'split long entries' plugin is so much easier to use for clients.

Hi!

But with childpages, you'd have nifty and nice navigation, it would also show up on the sidebar (if you like), you can uniquele template it...all the options you don't have for usual blog entries, where 'split entries' is a hack. :)

I'm not saying put it in instead of Childpages - just as an alternative.
