help needed: viewing RSS

I hope I am posting in the proper area. Here goes...

I have godaddy hosting and found serendipity. love it. absolutely perfect. I am using it to blog news stories on my site. What I "want" to do is blog on the blog page.... and RSS feed the articles to a smaller window on the main page of the site.

I can't figure it out. I'm lost. I've spent the last 8 hours wrestling with xsl transforms (no luck), magic-rss (works but I don't want branding), and rss2html (I've forgotten these results... but I'm sure they were terrible).

Can anyone Please help me? I'm trying to do something along the lines of what magic-rss does.

Why not just set up a category for a "mini blog" type sidebar item? Is this what you are trying to do?

Hi!

I'm not sure I understand...you simply want to display a foreign RSS feed in your sidebar? That's what the "Remote RSS Feed" sidebar plugin is for, is that what you're looking for?
