New Template Ported to Serendipity

Post by carl_galloway »

I was asked by someone to port the HTML template "Internet Market" by Luka Cvrk to Serendipity. I've done it, and it's available from my themes page, click the link in my sig.

What makes this template unique is that I've added the ability to throw in an advertising banner under the header, and another one inside the entry, but this only works if the extended entry is used.

The lady who wanted the template is currently using it on her site, nannies 4 children

Let me know if anything needs fixing, or if you're interested in adding additional languages for the benefit of other serendipity users.

See? You can still do it

Looking good, although the search box looks a little funny in Firefox - I'm not sure if the repeat for it's background image is responsible for it, but I think so ...

Nice work Carl - You might want to check things out at larger font sizes, especially in IE.

Also - the space allocated for the blog title is a bit tight IMHO, which becomes a bigger issue at larger text sizes for sure, but even "normal" text size for a title larger than your example.

I also saw a block of css that specifically states that it is for the template page on your blog.... not sure if you want that in a distributed template or not, just thought I would point it out.

Looks great!!!!!
