I just added my own blog to my iGoogle page, but even that I created a new blog entry, it is not updated on iGoogle. Its now been 12 hours since I added that new blog entry, and still it has not 'arrived' at my iGoogle page yet.
I can see other feeds on my iGoogle page being updated with new entries all the time, why is my blog not updating on iGoogle ??
Br,
Jonas
iGoogle are not updating with my recent added entries ??
Was the feed ever hit by googlebot in the past? When I first started looking at my feed in google reader (same bot) it would take somewhere in the range 24-72 hours for each item to be hit. After a while it will start getting the content quicker and quicker.
Right now the google feedfetcher indexes my rss feed once an hour.

I don't know if it was ever hit by googlebot in the past, how do I check ??
Its now been approx. 48 hours, and it is still not updated, but if it could be up to 72 hours, I'll just wait and see (what is my option anyway
).
Do I need to do anything, or will googlebot automatically find it ??
Will it help if more people add it to their iGoogle ??

Jonas

Did you use a link of this format to add it to igoogle?
http://fusion.google.com/add?feedurl=ht ... e/feed.rss
Can you post the link to rss feed that is not working. I will add it and see whats there for me.
You should not have to do anything as long as the bot is looking at the correct RSS feed.

I just added my web site as direct link here :
http://www.google.com/ig?hl=en -> Add stuff -> Add by URL
And then my URL :
http://www.hydraulisktidende.dk/
Anyway, good news, it has now started to update. My post from this monday morning appeared on iGoogle 3,5 hours later, so it has improved dramatically.
The strange part is, that the post from sunday is not listed ??
The post from saturday is listed, and the one from this monday is listed, but it skipped the post from sunday, weird ?? Any idea ?? Is it just 'start up' issues ??

Quite odd that google does not like that post for some reason.
Seeing that the newer post shows up just fine I would suggest the "wait and see" policy. If it happens again, worry. It could just have been an error when just starting the service or google not liking the post for some reason.
I have the feeling that it will be just fine from now on and it was just a one time issue.
