Change URLs for tags?

The tagging plugin creates default URLs like http://myblog/plugin/tag/... When i change that to http://myblog/tag/ the tag links don't work anymore.

Is there another way to remove the /plugin/ from tag URLs?

No, there is not, s9y plugins need to use the "/plugin/" hook if they want to take over the complete s9y page output.
