Error entering admin page after upgrade

Post by Lothar »

I just upgraded my installation and wanted to check plugin versions (are there announcements for new plugins or new versions of plugins?). I get the error message

Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "admin/index.tpl" in /homepages/28/d13468818/htdocs/tm_devblog/bundled-libs/Smarty/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

Hi!

You forgot to upload all files. Always upload all files of the s9y release zip.

I did so, of course. Core FTP copies all folders and subfolders.

Do you have any hints which folder could be the reason?

I never done a serendipity upgrade, but I had a similiar problem due to a incorrect upload (because my client sometimes won't uploads well). Try to reupload the files one more time...

I got the reason: I did not copy the templates, as I am using only my own one. However, Serendipity needs the "default" template (and I suppose the default-* ones).

Hi Lothar!

Yes, it requires default, carl_contest and you should really try out bulletproof as well. :)
