internet explorer align and width problem

Post by trudgeface »

hi, i have begun a blog and it works fine on firefox and opera, but ie makes the content area of the blog expand all crazy. i'm using ie 5.2 on a mac. it expands the main section to about 2000pix when it should be about 500.. also makes the content table rather small (200 pix) when on other browsers, everything appears as it should.

thanks in advance, and hello from berlin.

Hi!

Seems like you took an existing template and simply removed some divs, right? Seems you removed an important wrapper div, and the stylesheet now sets "90%" or so to your general width..

Check your 'style.css' template file for all "width:" attributes and play with it.

I see a giant horizontal scrollbar in both Firefox and IE7, so there seems to be a more general problem.

Best regards
